Part quant, social scientist and detective, you lead a team that are our human reality check, providing data and insights to drive strategic decision making. With an ability to move beyond the numbers, your team can vet ideas and provide insights and inferences that will make the difference between landing on the right idea and shipping it successfully. You create clarity within ambiguous situations and hone in on where business opportunities lie. Further, you are constantly on the lookout for ways to unlock more acquisition funnels, and ultimately better ways to sell and drive the cost of acquisition down.

Responsibilities:

  • Build, lead, and manage the Product Optimization team

  • Direct qualitative and quantitative research projects to qualify demand signal for products and go-to-market strategies

  • Interrogate data to understand findings from every angle

  • Work with other teams at Neon to coordinate delivery of services, share inputs and work product from optimization engagements

  • You are factual and transparent, presenting data and action items that are based on validation, not speculation

  • You are highly inquisitive, constantly in pursuit of using data to solve complex mysteries

  • You believe aspects of the product can be viewed under two perspectives: knowns and unknowns.

  • You move at a fast pace and delegate effectively, all while maintaining an impressive eye for detail

  • You are flexible and adaptive, constantly changing course based upon feedback and your findings

  • You have a diverse toolkit and a variety of ways to solve complex problems and
    opportunities

  • You are an expert in building acquisition funnels that are durable and cost-effective

  • You approach results from a strategic lens, with an ability to understand when there is signal versus noise
