Our client is a Vancouver, CSE listed technology company that is commercializing an Artificial Intelligence enabled Energy Management system for batteries, electric motors, and generators. The technology can be deployed in electric motors and generators to improve performance, efficiency and battery life. The company have established beachhead partnerships with large multinationals customers and are in the process of launching a pilot program with a fleet of electric delivery vehicles.

We are seeking a high-calibre CEO with experience in the electric motor and battery industry to power this growth. This is a great opportunity to be a catalyst and have a global impact on the adoption of clean energy and to build a highly profitable company. The CEO will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the company and for the conduct of its business.

The ideal candidate will have experience as a CEO, COO or CRO with responsibility for executing a strategy of engaging strategic industrial partners, creating alliances, licensing agreements and distributions networks that drive revenue growth.  

Experience and Qualifications include:

• Defining, articulating and driving clear vision and objectives internally to the team and externally to the customers, partners and investors

• Extensive industrial experience working with global suppliers of electric motors, batteries or industries that are ripe for electrification

• Commercializing novel technology

• Managing a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment

• Scaling a company rapidly

• Building high performing teams

• Engineering degree with an MBA is preferred or a business degree and the technical chops to engage with partners, customers and technology leaders

• Public company experience is highly desirable
