The FAX machine, bleeding high-tech edge of electronic communications, was only just available in Japan. Pac-Man was freshly released in game arcades all across North America. And in Vancouver, Corporate Recruiters was taking its first steps, specializing in this bold new world of technology. At the time, the concept of a purely technical focus in recruiting was a fairly new one. Don Safnuk believed it was the key to success in BC’s rapidly evolving tech sector, and through the years, his vision has proven accurate.

For the past thirty-one years, we have grown up with the British Columbia economy, starting with resource-based technologies, through electronic manufacturing, to rapid development of communications technology, gaming, software, and life sciences.
