As a gateway to the Pacific Rim, we have access to markets, people and ideas that are ahead of the North American curve. Yet few head offices are located here. We are instead a hotbed of entrepreneurial thinking, technology start-ups, mergers, acquisitions and rampant idealism.

Just because tech companies are smaller here doesn’t mean they should settle for second-rate talent. And the fact that a candidate may have global credentials doesn’t mean she isn’t interested in being part of the next rising tech star.

So we have to spread our nets wide to source the best people. And we have to know our own back yard to find them the perfect fit.
