With over 5 years of Venture Capital experience focused on Clean-tech, Energy, Health, and Sustainability Sarah has a deep understanding of business operations and key success factors for both start-up and growth stage companies. Most recently as Director of Pangaea Spark @ Pangaea Ventures, Sarah was responsible for developing and executing the firm’s seed-stage investment strategy. Sarah has worked closely with companies across a wide variety of sectors, including additive manufacturing, agriculture, automotive, molecular diagnostics, and advanced materials.
Sarah is excited to leverage her recent experience in Venture Capital to provide CRL’s clients with unique insights into what is required to build a successful business, raise capital and different stages of the company life cycle, and help build teams that are set up for success.
Sarah has been an active member of the VC and start-up community through involvement with the Cleantech Open, SXSW Eco, CIX, CVCA, and BCIC’s New Ventures BC Business Plan Competition. Sarah is also the co-founder of TNT Events, an event series that aims to foster cross-discipline networks within the innovation community in Vancouver.
Sarah holds a BSc. from Dalhousie University and a Master of Business Administration from The Schulich School of Business. Sarah also completed the executive program at Singularity University.
