From his roots in software development, Colin Farrell's 30-year career in high-tech has exposed him to a wide variety of technology companies and cultures. Time spent in dozens upon dozens of different boardrooms has provided Colin a unique ability to see past the ‘flashing lights' of high-tech to the value proposition and business model of most organizations. This allows him to understand the unique needs of each client he works with. (The BC Tech industry is a ‘Community of One-Offs' as he puts it).
Colin has direct experience in software development, Web-based, ERP, environmental and GIS solutions. Despite his knowledge and technical expertise, Colin insists he ‘doesn't use technology for the sake of technology'. He still uses an analog organizer (day-timer and pencil).
