Q4 – Corporate Recruiters Newsletter Winter 2016
In lieu of holiday cards, Don Safnuk, Corporate Recruiters’ CEO & President, would like to make a $10 donation to the charity of your choice. But we need your help!
We are inviting all Corporate Recruiters’ newsletter followers to select a charity from Social Venture Partners (SVP) Vancouver 2016 Investees, and Don will donate up to $10,000 collectively to these worthy non-profits.
Together, your selections will shape the scope of the donation so that it reflects the interests of the Corporate Recruiters community.

SVP is a foundation that helps innovative non-profits strengthen and scale through its venture philanthropy. Don is proud to be a co-founder and past chair of the organization.
Best wishes for the holiday season!
As emerging technology companies begin to establish their presence in the domestic marketplace, thoughts often turn to what kinds of opportunities could be capitalized on by venturing into international markets. However, when doing business internationally, there are a number of things that entrepreneurs need to keep in mind.
I have two jobs daily. Welcome to my club. I manage the newsroom at Business in Vancouver, but marry that role each weekday to create a three-hour Roundhouse Radio FM talk show. It seems like a lot, and it takes a little physical adjustment, but a year or so into it now and I find it quite manageable. What I get from one I can somehow transfer into the other. I can recommend it.
We may have a few more shopping days left before Christmas but there was quite a bit of shopping done over the past year involving BC tech companies. So, grab a rum & eggnog and have a glance at some of the acquisition highlights of 2016.
